The SEM C1 & C2 coordinators conducted two joined missions in March and June 2016, to follow up and discuss development of livelihoods subprojects and equipment support to the management plan implementation. By July 2016, three livelihood subprojects were selected by the NSC and local community, which included
i) Supply solar energy system at Gloa’an village
ii) Operation of glass-bottom boat tours at Wad-el-Gemal NP
iii) Establishment of Bedouin Camp at Wad-el-Gemal NP
The subproject document and procurement offers for the solar energy were prepared and submitted by the NC in July 2016.
